☆CHARACTER
Character Name: Michiru Kaioh / Sailor Neptune.
Age: 17.
Species: Human.
Canon: Sailor Moon (anime).
Canon Point: Post-canon.
Character Info: Link!
Personality: Kaioh Michiru is an incredibly talented young woman in many regards: she is a gifted artist, an expert swimmer, and a renowned violinist who has dreamed of playing professionally for most of her life. She also leads a second life as Sailor Neptune, the soldier of the sea - in short, a magical girl tasked with protecting the planet from attacks coming from outside their solar system.

As a civilian, Michiru is a friendly and clever young woman. She is patient, polite, and elegant in a way that seems to come simply as second-nature to her. At times, her outward aloofness could make her difficult to approach, though this was much more of a problem before she met a partner in Sailor Uranus; back then, her seriousness and devotion to her private mission made her come across to many as coldness and a general disagreeable disposition. Much has changed since then, however - she has a family in the other senshi, especially the rest of the Outers.

Though friendly, Michiru has never been an especially open person. That's not to say that she doesn't trust others -- she simply trusts herself more, and involving others frequently just seems like a recipe for trouble. At times, she can be self-reliant and self-sacrificing to a fault. When Haruka was on the cusp of awakening as Sailor Uranus, Neptune appeared to intercept it - to warn her that her life would never be the same if she answered the call of the transformation device in front of her. This was an incredibly self-sabotaging move, as Uranus had been the partner that Michiru had been glimpsing in her dreams for ages at that point, but insisted even then that if Haruka didn't want to accept her destiny, then Michiru would and could simply do it on her own.

These traits appeared again when Neptune and Uranus were hunting the Talismans (objects that were needed to help stop the Silence that would end the world), when Michiru accepts the fact that they will have to let innocent people die in order to acquire the Talismans in the first place. The thought is revolting to her, but she accepts that it is her fate and that she has no choice but to accept it. Again this streak of self-reliance and self-sacrifice rears its head when she and Uranus both fake loyalty to Galaxia near the end of Sailor Stars: they have to commit some horrible acts to maintain the illusion in this plan that they have kept secret. It ultimately gets them killed, but even then, it's not the plan itself that she regrets - simply its failure.

This isn't to say that she is simply a cold and single-minded soldier. It is her passion for protecting the world and the people in it that drives her actions, and always has. Michiru may not be actively close with many people, but she enjoys talking with them; when she's able to read someone especially well, she enjoys teasing them, too, though it's never meant to be malicious. When she isn't actively fighting for the salvation of the planet, she is affable and frequently downright playful. She isn't easily flustered (though it does happen, especially when she's surprised or caught especially off guard).

At her core, Michiru is a teenage girl with a lot of wisdom and sophistication who doesn't always manage to stick the landing. She strives to be the best that she can be in every aspect of her life, whether it be sailor soldier or musician. While she trusts the other senshi (and cares more deeply about them) than she had previously thought possible, she is still tries for a level of self-sufficiency tips the scale into "detriment" category. In short, she is very much a work in progress, grateful for her shot at a relatively normal life, but very much willing to give it up the moment she thinks she may need to.

☆INTERSTELLAR
Chosen Powers: Regain Moderate Power #1 (30 MP) - Sailor Attack Summoning: While (and only while) transformed into Sailor Neptune, she has the ability to attack opponents with a directed ball of physically manifested energy ("Deep Submerge.") She also has the ability to summon her Talisman - a mirror - to use another energy attack that originates from the mirror's surface ("Submarine Reflection.")

Regain Moderate Power #2 (30 MP) - Physical Ability Enhancement: When transformed (and again, only when transformed), Neptune has much enhanced physical ability. She is incredibly agile, able to do things like 'leap onto tree branches from the ground and balance there effortlessly while holding a conversation,' and has increased endurance - she's able to sustain more damage than a regular person would, though she is far, far, far from infallible or invulnerable.

Chosen Equipment: N/A
Relevant Skills: Michiru is a prodigy violinist, which may come into play given the theme of the game.
Character Goals: She is there to save Rei and to protect Usagi at all costs, and is something she would agree to without a beat of hesitation.
